You have to wonder, “What the hell are they thinking,” but you can’t put words in their mouths and mothers are sacred. Can you convince them that no one has died from prank tainted Halloween candy? Of course not. Because they are parents. And having children turns you into an insane person who is listened to by other insane people, the politicians, who govern our lives based on whatever batshit crazy thing parents are afraid of. Parental fear ruins everything. Stop having babies.

This is another typical alarmist video from some Christian preacher. A Warning-against-Rampant-Satanism video is not a rarity, not by any means. This one happens to be chock full of copyright violationy goodness. Yes, it’s fair use. But I don’t think Disney knows what Fair Use means. You have to wonder how many Christian materials snatched up Disney content to show rampant liberalism/homosexuality/satanism/Communism is. Hey, RIAA: don’t look at me: you should really plumb the depths of the Christian Educational Video genre. It would be a goldmine–for the RIAA, of course, Not for the artists. Riiight. They give money won from lawsuits to ARTISTS. I’d like to see THAT happen.

Lately, I’ve been interacting more with people of the ages I shouldn’t be voluntarily interacting with–in my leisure time. No, I’m talking about that wretched Facebouf. You know the one–you might have found my podcast here, right now! Interacting on Facebouf is like posting on Christian message boards. Christians think the Internet is in America, and foreigners should get out. 12 year-old boyZ and pregnant, 13 year-old GirZ who post on facebouf think that we’re all in their territory, the one with RingpopZ and WebCritterZ and homemade, misspelled tattooZ. And these young peepZ, these future leaderZ of the UniverZe are the most sexist, misogynistic little squeebZ in the universe. And so I complain about attitudes in past advertising, because it all seems so similar. Luckily, none of my facebouf “frenZ” tell me I should be in the kitchen, making them a sandwich. I don’t understand why their dadZ don’t make them sandwiches, when they’re obviously hungry and I don’t get it because I am not Phresh Phly PantZ on the groun’.

Many Christians (I don’t know the percentage) actually do worship a murderous, bloodthirsty god (regardless of the fact it’s apparent in the bible that it is), and consider fear of their god a necessity to go into “heaven.” It’s a lot more simple and practical than it first sounds. This is not some great spiritual truth for them. This is not enlightenment in the least. This is as primitive as any “religion” can get: You’ve got to love God or He will kill you. (Sound familiar?) So why study the bible or pray? They don’t want no fruity intellectuals in this religion. Alls you gotta do is get saved. Alls you gotta do to want to get saved is be ascareded. Praise. And that’s something to be proud of.
